Outside of the Innovation Hub, you’ll find unseasonably warm weather, geese on the roof, and lots of cars in the parking lot.

Inside, you’ll find hundreds of industry partners coming together to help advance government programs. From reverse industry days to demo days, here’s what’s been happening at the IHub in March so far.

Kronos Warfighting Workshop

On March 3rd, the Innovation Hub hosted a Mission Catalyst Day for the Kronos Program, which aims to deliver a modernized suite for space battle management and intelligence.

The event began with an overview of the program, which included a Q&A portion. After lunch, 20+ member companies got a chance to meet one-on-one with program leadership. This gave industry time to provide feedback and understand mission needs, while giving program leaders a better view of the acquisitions landscape and how the program will be utilized.

Cohort 9 Demo Day

The next day, the SDA TAP Lab hosted their 9th Cohort Demo Day. At this popular event, more than 200 attendees gathered for an overview of the Lab, what’s next for the program, and presentations from key partners.

Afterwards, 60+ member companies presented the prototype battle management solutions developed over the past three months. A walk around the expo floor would take you through two programs, nine subsystems, and plenty of candy to share.

We were also thrilled to welcome dozens of students from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. They took the opportunity to learn more about space domain awareness and form valuable connections across industry and government at this quarter’s Demo Day.

OTTI Reverse Industry Day

On March 5, SSC’s Operational Test & Training Infrastructure (OTTI) team hosted a reverse industry day to facilitate focused, mission-driven dialogue between government and selected industry partners. Unlike the traditional industry day, industry participants got to brief directly to program leaders in small groups.

With the help of our partners at the Space Force Association, OTTI selected 32 industry companies with capabilities relevant to

  • Operational test and training infrastructure
  • Test, training, and readiness environments
  • Digital infrastructure, integration, and sustainment
  • Simulation, data, cyber, and enabling technologies supporting Space Force missions

As we move into the second half of the month, we look forward to more great events welcoming partners across industry, academia, and government. One things for sure, it’s shaping up to be a great spring at the Innovation Hub.
